Colt Commander .45 ACP (C10649)

Colt Commander .45 ACP caliber pistol. This is one of the special run of guns made in the 1970’s for Robby Shipley of the Shipley donut Company, who supposedly had them made to give as gifts for friends and associates. These guns were some of the first Special Edition Custom Shop models made in a non-standard configuration. They are factory nickel plated with Gold Cup triggers and “Robby Shipley Special” marked on the frame, this gun is one of the few lightweight blue models made. This one is in near excellent condition with just a light bit of carry wear. A very interesting and collectible Colt Custom Shop Commander.
