U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor .45-70 caliber rifle. Metal has brown patina. Bore is bright with some areas of light frosting. Stock shows handling and usage wear. Cartouche is dated 1889. Breech block and rear sight looked to have been added are some point. Good looking Trapdoor rifle!
