Jenks Carbine with Tape Primer. Rare Jenks carbine with tape primer ignition system Manufactured from 1847-48. Total quality made about 1000. Carbine is overall in great condition. Barrel has a mixture of patina and original brown finish, minor areas of pitting noted on top in a few areas. Bore is good with strong rifling, some areas of pitting noted.
