Spanish Miguelet Cavalry Pistol (BAH4092)

Spanish Miguelet Cavalry Pistol. Circa 1690-1700. Barrel is 13.5” long. 17mm caliber. Stamped SALA (active 1690-1750), a Catalan maker, ramrod a correct reproduction. The lock is an iron pan, stamped LDIAM. A pair can be found in Bayerisches Armeemuseum. 4 are in Esterhazy in Burland, Austria probably left by Catalan troops aiding in the Hapsburg.
