Maurice Ottmar Custom Mauser 98 .270 Win (R20083)

Beautiful Maurice Ottmar custom rifle built on an Argentine 1909 Mauser action. The barrel is marked “M. Ottmar Gunmaker”. The Ottmar stock is of Turkish walnut with fancy fleur-de-lis combination point checkering, with inletted swivel mount in the butt. The metal work was all done by Herman Waldron, in a soft rust blue finish, and includes 3 panel checkered bolt knob, barrel mounted sling swivel mount, Blackburn bottom metal and trigger, and Biesen checkered steel trap buttplate and grip cap. Has a Leupold 2 ½ x8 scope mounted. An outstanding example of the Master Gunmaker’s art, in excellent overall condition.
