Tranter style revolver (AH4125)

Tranter style revolver (no loading lever). Top strap marked “CD Duly and Legally Licensed”. The use of “CD” in the inscription is not a real person but rather a legal designation for someone who was “duly and legally licensed” to make this revolver. This information was found in Victorian statutes regarding gun powder and gun makers. Trigger return spring needs repair but cylinder and hammer work fine when you pull the trigger.
