Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifled Musket (AL4804)
Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifled Musket. Barrel has a dark gray patina. Proof marks are visible on the left side. Lock plate is dated 1861 with Tower above crown, in nice and shape behind hammer. Stock is good, shows handling wear and usage. These muskets saw heavy use during the Civil War.
