Mauser 1896 7.63mm (PR28320)

Mauser 1896 7.63mm caliber pistol. “French Gendarme” variation. This interesting variant is found in the 430XXX range and has a Bolo barrel and extension, and a more standard “bag” shaped butt frame. These pistols have the 500 meter rear sight (like you see on red nines). The Gendarmes have the “MW” (Mauser Werke) grips. Bore is excellent. Gun has 98% blue and some very small scattered pinpoint pits on the left side of the barrel. Excellent and rare!
