Colt/Jimmy Lile Lone Wolf Gonzaullas Texas Ranger Knife and Gun Set (C17587)

Colt/Jimmy Lile Lone Wolf Gonzaullas Texas Ranger Knife and Gun set. A limited edition of only 50. The gun is a Colt 1970's vintage Combat Commander that's been customized with the trigger guard removed (as Gonzaullas preferred), a Swenson ambi safety, and the slide has been engraved with the Texas Ranger seal and "Lone Wolf Gonzaullas".

According to research, only 2 of the 50 guns were Commanders, the rest were Government Models. The gun has genuine grips scrimshawed on one side with a portrait of Gonzaullas and the Ranger seal on the other. The Knife is a beautiful Jimmy Lile bowie with spiral carved handle. The set is numbered 42 and one of the faces of the cut trigger guard is marked "TR42" and the other is signed "Lile" indicating that Lile did the modification to the gun. The knife is marked "#42 Lone Wolf Gonzaullas".

A really great set for collectors of Texas Ranger, Jimmy Lile or Colt items. Comes in a custom Colt presentation case.
