Winchester 97 12 Gauge (W6909)

Winchester 97 12 Gauge shotgun. Manufactured approximately 1919. Barrel length is 30” with full choke and excellent bore. This Model 97 is excellent to near mint with 98% beautiful blue. Note: The buttstock has a cartouche “W.B.”, a U.S. Military inspector of Winchester shotguns. There are no other ordnance or military markings on the gun. We have no idea why the stock is so marked, but the stock does appear completely original to the gun.
