U.S. Model 1855 Percussion .58 caliber rifle. Maynard tape prime system. Lock and barrel are dated 1859. Manufactured at Springfield Armory. Bore is excellent. All markings are excellent. Stock cartouche is faint, but visible. Stock is very good overall. Metal is very good plus. This is a very fine 1855 Model that has some handling, but no real use.
