Colt Single Action Army .22 Hornet (C12447)

Colt Single Action Army .22 Hornet caliber revolver. Rare Sedgley custom Single Action in .22 hornet. Gun has a 7 ½” barrel. Gun is finished in a high polish deep blue. Back strap is checkered in factory style quality. Manufactured approximately 1920 by serial number. R.F. Sedgley was a very well-known Philidelphia gunsmith. He died in 1938 and made the famous Sedgley/Springfield custom sporting rifles and many other variations of custom guns. He made custom revolvers of high quality and finish. Having seen and owned many Sedgley guns over many years, we believe this to be a Sedgley Single Action. Condition is excellent. Ear protection would be a really good idea.
