Portuguese Model 1886 Kropatschek Infantry 8x60mmR caliber rifle. Non-matching serial numbers. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. The rear sight has been upgraded for smokeless powder. The stock shows a couple of age cracks at the toe. Original rod. The metal has some pitting at the wood line. The gun remained in service until the 1960’s. Good overall condition.
