Harrington & Richardson 1873 .45-70 Govt caliber carbine. Rare Custer Memorial Commemorative carbine. These guns were made in tribute to the men who were killed at Little Big Horn. This one bears the name of Pvt. Thomas P. Downing. The gun is highly engraved with gold line inlays, and has beautiful feathered deluxe walnut. According to sources, only 100 of these guns were made. A rare and beautiful piece in excellent condition with wooden presentation case.
