Winchester 42 410 Gauge (W7868)

Winchester 42 410 Gauge Shotgun. Manufactured approximately 1960. Modified choke, 26” barrel length. This is a Model 42 that has been to Simmons to have a Simmons vent rib installed. Simmons also refinished the guns as rib installation required barrel refinishing and the receiver was often refinished at the same time. In addition to the rib, this gun has a non factory forend. In this case it is a factory style Deluxe “Double Diamond” forend. Most likely done by Simmons. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly and smoothly. Gun has 99% of the Simmons blue. Stock is very good plus.
