Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector .44 Special (PR27105)

Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector .44 Special caliber revolver. Third model Hand Ejector. One of 300 sold to the Houston Police Department. Factory letter shows this revolver was in a 300 gun shipment to Wolf and Klar in Ft. Worth Texas, March 9, 1931 and was for the Houston Police Department. This revolver has approximately 96-97% bright original blue. Backstrap is marked “H.P.D.129”. Grips are in perfect condition. Cylinder has a couple of very small spots in the blue. One small blemish on the right side of the frame. Gun appears unfired with no evidence of firing on the face of the cylinder or on the breech. We have owned three of these H.P.D. revolvers in the past and this is certainly the best one we have seen.
