Whitney Pocket Model .31 Caliber Percussion Revolver. 5th Model. This is a very fine Whitney Pocket. Barrel has a perfect “E. Whitney New Haven” address. Cylinder has a very good scene with Man O’ War Ship under full sail and has the American shield with stars. Grips are very good with 97-98% original varnish (very tiny chip out of left side toe). Loading lever has 95% vivid case colors. Bore is bright with very small pit. Action works perfectly. Case colors on frame have faded to a light to medium gray patina. This is a very good looking Whitney Pocket 5th type!
