Savage Arms 1899 .303 Savage caliber carbine. Most unusual saddle ring carbine. Has a 22” barrel with a factory saddle ring and carbine stock. Made in 1899. Serial #12,001. Metal has a gray patina with original blue in protected areas. Tang rear peep sight. Bore is very good with strong rifling. An early Savage 99 with very unusual features.
