Colt 1911A1 .45 ACP caliber pistol. Manufactured approximately 1943. Excellent bore. This is a WWII “Lend Lease” gun with British proofs. Gun has excellent Parkerizing and excellent grips. Lend Lease guns were guns were authorized by the British purchasing commission for use by British citizens to repel any potential Nazi invasion. Very fine Colt from WWII.
