Colt 1911 .45 ACP (C15985)

Colt 1911 .45 ACP caliber pistol. WWI period U.S. Army Issue Colt .45 Auto probably shipped to the Small Arms Proving Grounds, Springfield in October 1918. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Grips are near excellent with very minor handling wear. Gun has gray-brown mottled patina with approximately 15% original blue. No pits, no abuse. Edges are sharp as is the lettering. Very good WWI Colt!
