Massachusetts Arms. Maynard Tape Prime .31 (AH3494)
Massachusetts Arms. Maynard Tape Prime .31 caliber revolver. Approximately 1000 made. (Note: 200 were sent to the abolitionist John Brown in Kansas). Frame is engraved and cylinder is etched. Bore is good. Cylinder is hand rotated by use of a button in the trigger guard. Gun has very good blue. Right side of grip has a crack (easy repair for a good wood repairmen) and a small chip at the top of the grip. Scarce model made to avoid Colt’s lawsuit for patent infringement. Barrel length is 5”. Maynard parts work perfectly.
