Werder 1869 11.5x50R Infantry rifle. This is the original rifle. Not modified. 127,000 made and 124,500 converted. Most of the nonconverted were lost in France, during the Franco-Prussian War. This gun came out of a collection that was lost since the 1980's. Everything is original on this rifle. No date markings, correct for this gun. Metal has a patina finish. Stock is fine. Unit marked on butt plate. Bore is nice. Super rare in todays market.
