DWM 1891 Peruvian 7.65 Mauser (R12213)

DWM 1891 Peruvian 7.65 Mauser caliber rifle. This is one of the 16,000 rifles Peru acquired from Argentina in 1901. The Argentine crest was removed and Peruvian crest put on. Around 1912 the Lange rear sight was installed. It ha been arsenal refurbished at some point. Non matching serial numbers. About 97% finish. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Excellent wood. Very good over all condition and difficult to find in this condition.
