French model 1777 Military Flintlock (AH3425)

French model 1777 Military Flintlock pistol. Has Belt hook. Most examples are missing the belt hook. Action works fine. Manufactured at St. Etienne Arsenal. These were used extensively by the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Our 1st officially sanctioned U.S. made pistol (by North and Cheney) was an almost direct copy of the 1777 French. The stock has no chips or cracks and the gun overall is good plus to very good.
