German Federal Navy issue Musket (AL3429)
German Federal Navy issue Musket. Converted to percussion from a model 1809 and has unit issue marks on the butt plate. Gun was surplused around the time of the American Civil War and sold to the state of Ohio for issue to Union troops. Guns is Ohio marked on the top of the wrist. Very interesting history to this musket having seen action on two continents. Â
