Rudy Ruana model 33B. This is a monster bowie knife made by the legendary Rudy Ruana. Dated 1-12-1984, this is the last year that Ruana made knives before turning the business over to his son-in-law. The blade is hand forged and measures in at 14 3/8”. The brass guard and butt are also hand made. The handle is Elk antler and is very robust. The markings are all correct and the knife bears the original correct hand made sheath. the overall length is 20 5/8” long, making this a very substantial bowie. Though the Ruana knives have a rougher appearance than other knives, these are made with unsurpassed quality. They are well balanced, have a fantastic edge, and are a testament to Ruana’s legend. Truly a piece for the outdoorsman and the collector. Near mint condition.
