Mauser 1896 7.63 caliber pistol. WWI commercial production taken into the German army. The bore has strong rifling with some minor frosting. All matching serial numbers including the grips are near excellent. Has about 97% finish. Comes with an original shoulder stock that is German army proofed with one crack, rod and 1917 dated stock carrier. The leather carrier has a hole at the bottom of the rod pouch. The stud on stripper clip pouch is loose. The metal attachment piece on the stock is numbered to the gun. Very, very seldom seen matching complete rig in about excellent overall condition.
