Colt No.2 Solid Silver Derringer (C14629)

Colt No.2 Solid Silver Derringer. Incredibly rare gun with only 6 or 7 of these known. This gun is in the same serial range most of these are found in, and has the “A.M. Sterling” mark on the barrel. Grips are period ivories. These guns are solid silver. This gun shows some light nicks and dings to the metal. Since silver is much softer than iron, this is normal handling wear. Incredibly rare gun and among the most desirable of the derringers!
