Colt Medium Frame Military Lightning .38-40 (C14443)

Colt Medium Frame Military Lightning .38-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1889. This gun is in .38-40 with a 26” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with good blue on the frame and blue in protected areas on the barrel. The barrel is nice and sharp with good marking. The metal has light brown patina with blue in protected areas. Wood is excellent. The checkering on the forearm is a little worn. Bore is very fine. This is a really good looking rifle!
