Colt Medium Frame Military Lightning.44-40 caliber rifle. Made 1892. This is a scarce variation as it has a 27” barrel with a bayonet lug. Metal has a light gray patina. Gun is in 44-40 and has an excellent bore. Wood is very good. First one we have seen with the bayonet lug, but it is a known variation.
