Winchester 1892 .38-40 WCF (W9635)
Winchester 1892 .38-40 WCF caliber rifle. Made in 1896. .38-40 with a 24” barrel. Barrel has just about all of the original blue. There is approximately 30% of the original blue on the frame. The remainder has just turned into a smooth light brown patina. The frames on the 1892s did not hold their bluing like the barrels. Wood is excellent. Bore is like new. Top notch 1892 rifle!
