  • Adams Mark II Model 1867 revolver marked NWMP for Northwest Mounted Police. This exact revolver is pictured on page 10 of the Arms & Accoutrements of the Mounted Police by Donald J. Klancher. Excellent bore and action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 50% blue and the rest is a brown patina. Grips are good plus. Neat revolver pictured in the book. • European made (probably Italian) for export to Albania as was the Custom of Italy and Spain to export to Muslim countries at the time. The decoration such as the silver buttcap and barrel shroud are most likely done in Prizren which is in modern day Kosovo. Barrel is 11” long and has scrolling tendrils in chiseled relief. The gold on the barrel and cock and lock are also Prizren work. The sock lock and trigger guard and side plate and barrel are Italian work in our opinion. Very good condition and very buy appealing.
