  • Swedish 3 Shot .31 Caliber Pepperbox. Rounded brass shield protects the shooter of debris from fired percussion caps. Barrels are numbered 1,2,3 and the barrels are hand rotated to the next barrel position. Action works perfectly. Barrel length is 4 ½” and overall length is 8”. Gun is unmarked as to maker or proof marks. Grips are walnut and are excellent. Brass is an even mustard color patina. These pistols were sold in the 1950’s thru the 1980’s as Unmarked Darling pepperboxes. Later evidence indicates they are Swedish. Hard to find pepperbox.

  • Perrin First Type Revolver. First type with double action feature only. Serial is #447. Marked “Perrin et Cie” on frame. Bore has deep rifling and has some fouling in the grooves. Action works perfectly. Barrel length is 6 3/8” and an overall length of 11 ½”. Barrel has a ding on the left side, metal is otherwise fine and smooth with no abuse or pits. Finish is a light gray brown patina. Grips are excellent. Very nice example that was a private purchase by officers during the 1870 Franco-Prussian War. Hard to find French revolver.

  • German Pinfire Revolver By C. Stiegele Jr. in Munchen. Beautiful six shot 8mm revolver. Action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 93-94% blue. Bore is very good. Grips are in excellent condition and are bag shape form with fine checkering and very fine modeling of a fierce looking snake curling out of a floral grouping. The bottom of the grip has a grotesque mask in the midst of a floral pattern. The Stiegele Family of gunsmiths were well known for their top-quality work.

  • Smith & Wesson Model 3 Schofield, 2nd Model U.S. Issue. ”U.S.” on butt. Grips have good cartouches, left side dated 1877. Excellent bore. Action works perfectly. Very good original blue. This fine U.S. Army Issue revolver has sharp clean metal with no pitting or abuse. Gun shows little or no evidence of firing. It has some patina from handling or holster wear but has very good original blue. There is a number “243” at the top of the backstrap. We do not know what this number means. Possibly a regimental issue or rack number? As Schofields go this is in the harder to find level of condition. Well cared for U.S. Schofield.

Gun has approximately 25% blue, the rest is an even blue/gray patina. Edges are sharp as are markings. Grips are correct type but not numbered to the gun. Nice, sharp revolver.
