  • Large Underhammer Pistol with Blade Attached to Barrel.  Very big gun! 6” barrel with a 50 caliber bore.  18 1/2” overall length.  Blade is 9 ½” long with a clip point tip.  Top of barrel is marked “Bentley-Perks Liverpool”. There are proofs on the left hand side flat of the barrel. This appears to be European manufacture.  Action works perfectly.  Very neat piece and something that you really do not see every day.  Only one we can remember seeing like this.

  • Plant Small Frame Pocket Revolver. .30 caliber rimfire barrel marked “Merwin and Bray Firearms Co. N.Y.”. Bore and action are excellent. Cylinder has approximately 90% blue. Barrel has blue-brown patina. Frame is marked Kittredge and Co. Cin. O. Frame has approximately 70% original tarnished silver plate that is black and lusterous so it looks like high lustre blue (but it is deep tarnish old silver). Grips are rosewood and are excellent. Cincinatti was one of the cities for people moving west and Kittredge was a supplier for all sorts of goods for those adventurers. Kittridge sold Sharps rifles, Colt revolvers and self-protection pocket pistols such as this Plant revolver. Neat Kittredge revolver.

  • Unusual Double Action Underhammer Pistol.  7” barrel with .44 caliber bore.  Only markings are what appear to be an “H.R.K”. on the barrel.  It is not clear if this is the maker or the owner of the pistol.  Very unusual design where the ring trigger pulls down a single piece that acts as both the hammer and spring mounted under the barrel.  Gun is nice and sharp with a smooth brown patina.  Very nice interesting gun.
