NSN. Made circa 1850s. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. This gun has an even dark gray patina. The serial number and patent dates are removed. Small parts have been replaced. This gun was probably a military contract since it has an iron back strap and trigger guard. Grips are good. Action works well.

Serial number 22974. Made in 1853. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. Very fine English refinish done during the period of use. Approximately 50% of the blue remains. Case colors are very good. Grips are very good as well. The trigger guard and back strap have much larger numbers than the frame and barrel.

Colt 1851 Navy Revolver. Made in 1863. Barrel is excellent with 95% of the original blue remaining. The frame, hammer and lever have almost all of their original case colors, thought slightly darkened. Cylinder is excellent with very fine original blue.
