Winchester 1873 .22 short caliber rifle. This is the scarcest caliber among the 1873 rifles. Bore is very good and the action remains tight. Metal has a nice smooth brown patina with a nice amount of blue mixed in. The wood is very good as well. Made in 1902. This is a very attractive 22 caliber 1873 rifle.

Metal has good markings (clear barrel address) with some scattered pitting that is only in a few spots, except the upper tang which has 100% pitting. Stock is good with no cracks or chips. Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured 1891. Has rare 32" barrel with factor letter. Most long barrel 1873s are .32-20 and .38-40 would be considered to be scarce and desirable. Bore is weak and rifling is light. The exterior is sharp. Good edges and smooth metal with no pitting or abuse. Markings such as barrel address are deep; sharp and clear. Gun has an even, light patina.

Winchester 1873 .22 caliber rifle. Smooth blue-brown patina on barrel frame and mag tube. Forearm has been expertly repaired and wood has been refinished but looks very good. Action is tight. Bore has areas of pitting and is pretty typical of one of these guns in 22 caliber. Made in 1892. Very clean, sharp Winchester 1873 22 caliber!
