Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured 1891. Has rare 32" barrel with factor letter. Most long barrel 1873s are .32-20 and .38-40 would be considered to be scarce and desirable. Bore is weak and rifling is light. The exterior is sharp. Good edges and smooth metal with no pitting or abuse. Markings such as barrel address are deep; sharp and clear. Gun has an even, light patina.
