Winchester 1866 2nd Model Saddle Ring carbine. Made in 1868. Nice early 2nd model carbine with Henry marked barrel. Metal has a nice smooth brownish gray patina with very tiny scattered pin point pits. Brass has a nice smooth old patina. The initials "L.C.G." are nicely engraved on the top of the frame. This gun is all matching on frame, stock and buttplate. Action is tight and works perfectly....
