Serial No. 220355, circa early 1960's, 9mm, 4.9" round barrel. Pistol is in overall excellent condition with matching serial numbers. Left side of the frames trigger guard is marked with the "Berlin Rosette", slide is stamped with "Crossed cannons" meaning this part was made to fulfill a Portuguese contract. Finish is in good with expected wear noted along the edges, light speckled pitting noted on the right side of the slide. Grips show light handling wear. SN: 7425L. Made by Metallwarenfabrik Spreewerk GmbH in 1944 with a 5-inch barrel chambered for the 9mm cartridge. This numbers matching P-38 is in very good condition with a bright bore & well worn factory dull phosphate finish across the metal parts. The Bakelite grips are in great shape.
