Antique Smith and Wesson Revolvers

Serial No. 53794,circa 1864-1865, .22 Short RF, 3 3/16" octagonal barrel. Barrel and cylinder are a smooth grey patina with pin prick pitting visible throughout. Cylinder has the "1855" "1859" & "1860" patent dates. Bore is good with frosting visible in the grooves. Two piece rosewood grips show handling and usage wear mostly on the right side. Serial number is marked on the right grip....

Serial No. 48207, circa 1868-1875, .32RF, 3.5" round barrel. Bright nickel finish with expected minor light surface scratches, some flaking is visible on the cylinder. Bore is dark with pitting noted in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Grips are very good with light handling wear. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up. Consignment

Serial No. 11772, circa 1896-1898, .32 S&W, 6" round barrel. Nickel finish rates near excellent with scattered light pin-prick oxidation noted in some areas. Bore is bright with frosting visible in the grooves. Rifling remains strong.  Beautiful Mother of Pearl Medallion grips are in excellent condition. Overall a very fine example of an early Hand Ejector Model! Consignment

Serial number 100034. Made late 1800s. 38 S&W caliber with a 5” barrel. This gun is in very fine condition with 75% of the original finish. Gun has very fine two piece pearl grips. Along with this gun is a Piteado “Bikini” style holster. Very attractive gun and Holster!

Serial number 85386. Made circa late 1880s to early 1890s. 32  S&W caliber with a 3” barrel. This gun is in very fine condition with 90%+ of the original finish/ Grips are excellent. This gun comes with a period  single loop holster with a thumb strap flap.

Serial number 119657. Made circa 1860s-1870s. 32 RF caliber. This gun is more of a filler for the Holster. The cylinder is missing. There is approximately 20% of the original nickel finish. The grips are aged old two piece Ivory. This gun comes with a ribbed form fitting holster with a thumb strap.

Serial number 23166. Made circa 1870s. 44 American with a 8” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun that is New York engraved. Approximately 15% of the original nickel finish. This gun has Beautiful Carved Mexican ivory Grips that has been repaired. The base of the grips have engraved copper plates. Along with this gun comes a Piteado Holster with thumb...

Serial number 910. Made in 1887. 38 S&W caliber with a 3 ¼” barrel. Very fine 1^st Model 38 S&W caliber New Departure Model. This gun is in excellent original condition with 95%+ of the original nickel finish. The grips are two piece pearls with a carved steer head on the right hand side. Serial number 75625. Made circa 1880s. 32 S&W caliber with a 3 ½” barrel. This gun is in excellent with 80% of the original nickel. Grips are original ivory. Even case colors remain on the hammer. This gun comes with a period “slim Jim” style Pieteado Holster. Pieteado holsters were mostly made in Mexico.

Serial number 94214. Made circa late 1880s. 38 S&W with a 3” barrel. Barrel has most of the original finish. Frame has a mostly a gun metal gray patina as it was cleaned. Grips are fantastic two piece double side carved ivories with rampant Colts on each side. Holster is a form fitting leather with thumb strap flap.

Serial number 26402. Made in 1870s. 44 American caliber with an 8” barrel. This gun has been refinished. The grips have been replaced. The action revolves, but does not lock up.

SN:6504. Circa 1880s, .44 Russian, with a 6.5" barrel. Bore is fair. First model double action top break revolver. Has gray patina with oxidization. Grips are good with wear. Overall in fair condition.

SN:49. Shipped in 1904, .38-40 Win, with a 6.5" barrel. Bore is good. Very rare single action New Model No. 3 revolver with only 74 being manufactured in this caliber. This is number 49 of 74. Has traces of original blue with a gray patina. Grips are excellent. Comes with letter from Smith & Wesson confirming the details of this gun. Overall in fair condition. Consignment.

Serial number 4958. Made circa 1870s. 44 Russian caliber with a 6 ½” barrel. This gun is beautifully Ne York Engraved. The grips are very fine original ivories. The condition is excellent and period renickeled. Very fine New York Engraved Smith & Wesson 3^rd Model Target!

Serial number 44112. Made circa 1870s- 1880s. 44 Russian caliber with a 6 ½” barrel. This gun is beautifully engraved. The engraving is nice and sharp with mostly scroll work. Serial number 26164. Made circa 1870s. 44 Russian caliber with a 7” barrel. This is a beautifully New York engraved gun. It is in excellent condition as renickeled. The grips are beautiful period Pearls. The cylinder is gold plated. Very fine engraved Smith & Wesson 2^nd Model Russian!

Serial number 6706. Made circa 1874. 45 Schofield caliber with a 7” barrel. This is a rare commercial model. Roughly 90% of the Schofield production was sold and issued to the military. This gun has a dark gray patina throughout the metal and very fine pearl grips.

Serial number 11506. Made circa 1870s. 44 American caliber with a 8” barrel. Beautifully engraved gun with silver plated finish in excellent condition. Grips are burled walnut. Action works perfect.

SN: 76604. 1880's production .32 S&W caliber with a 3.5" barrel. Bore is good with light pitting. Break top single action revolver in excellent condition. Has about 95% original nickel with a bit of flaking. The grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. Comes with original box.
