Serial Number 825. Made in 1863. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” half round half octagon barrel.  This is an Augusta, Ga manufactured revolver. This gun has a nice even dark gray t light brown patina throughout metal. All numbers are matching. Grips are original and good as refinished. Very fine example of a rare early confederate Revolver!

The spring loaded release below the trigger allows the trigger guard lever to open forward and engages the ram rod for loading. Barrel address is legible. A not often found Allen & Wheelock.
