U.S. Model 1842 Pistol by Johnson. Dated 1855. Very good clear markings. The barrel has been cleaned and has minor nicks and dings along with some pitting. Wood is very good. Cartouche is very faint. There are two small cracks; one along the bottom of the lock and one running from the side plate. Action works well.

U.S. Model 1836 Pistol by Johnson Converted to Percussion. Dated 1837. The metal has been cleaned and now has a light brown patina that is most likely dried oil, but it looks good, so we are not cleaning it. Wood has been refinished. Ramrod assembly is missing and has been replaced by a wood ramrod. This is a very well done drum conversion that appears to have been done commercially.
