Turkish GEW 88 Commission rifle produced in the 1890’s and was given to the Turks for use in WWI. The Turks then arsenal refurbished it in 1938. Non matching serial numbers. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Stock is very good with dents and dings. Overall good condition. This gun is for collecting only, not for firing!

About 10,000 were produced, but most were destroyed when the Havyang rifle was adopted. The handguard is cracked. The stock is good. The bore has strong rifling and is dark. Very rare. The only one we have seen. Good-very good condition.
