This fine flintlock fowler was manufactured by Caspar Zelner II of Vienna circa 1700 to 1740. He obviously learned the art of fine gun making from his father, Caspar Zelner I, who operated as a gunsmith in Salzburg circa 1680 to 1725. The overall length is approx. 59.5". The approx. 44.5" octagon to round 62 caliber barrel has a very fine smooth bore. The barrel has approx. 98% period blue....

NSN .75 caliber 40.50" round smoothbore barrel, metal is a dark plum patina, oxidation is noted at the touch hole. Wood shows multiple repairs with dings and scratches visible throughout. Barrel tang is broken and barrel is only secured by pins. Action functions but is weak. 

NSN, approximately .72 caliber, 44" octagonal to round barrel trade gun. Lock plate is marked with "WARRANTED" with floral motif behind the hammer. Metal is a grey patina with scattered oxidation noted throughout the surface. Wood is good with dings, and scratches visible from handling. Action does function correctly.

1.25" diameter bore 16" round brass barrel with cannon style muzzle English flintlock Blunderbuss by Brander circa mid 1700's. Brass barrel is an untouched mustard patina marked "LONDON" with proof marks. Wood shows old cracks that have been repaired and a wrist repair which is where the cracks started. Action functions correctly, lock is marked "Brander" 

.55 caliber 35" octagon to round barrel percussion altered trade gun by Whately, overall good condition the metal is a brown/grey patina with circle fox and London on the barrels surface. Wood is good with handling and usage wear noted. Action function correctly but spring is becoming weak. This gun is one of the 1580 guns contract to supply Britain's Native allies for the War of 1812.  

.60 caliber 36.75" octagonal to round barrel Board of Ordnance altered Trade Gun by Galton. Metal is a dark brown patina with scattered surface oxidation noted, drum bolster shows minor pitting. Wood is good with handling and usage wear noted. Stock is marked with C/I Broad Arrow/D this most likely is attributed to the Canadian Indian Department. .60 caliber 36" octagonal to round barrel flintlock Chief's Grade flintlock musket by W. Jacot circa early 1800's. Metal is a dark brown patina with faint Crown/GR/ Broad Arrow noted. Oxidation is and surface corrosion is visible at the breech area, rifle appears to have been expertly converted back to flintlock. Metal is a dark brown patina with scattered surface oxidation visible, circle fox is stamped on the barrel and lock plate with a faint broad arrow noted on the breech. .58 caliber 29.75" octagonal to round barrel percussion trade gun by Barnett manufactured in 1900! Metal is a dark brown patina with surface oxidation scattered throughout. NSN .62 caliber, 20ga double barrel 28.75" percussion Cap gun circa 1850's by Friedrich Schuler. Damascus barrels have a light pewter finish with some surface oxidation visible. Stock is beautiful with extraordinary carvings present. Bores are good, action functions correctly. 

NSN .62 caliber 30.5" octagon barrel German percussion rifle by G. & W. Pistor Schmalkalden in overall good condition. Barrel is a plum patina finish, lock is missing its hammer stop. Wood is good with minor handling marks. Bore is good with some areas of pitting noted in the grooves, strong rifling remains. 

NSN .20ga double Damascus 33.25" barrels with a light grey pewter finish. Stock is good and has been revarnished, old repairs are visible at the wrist. Action functions correctly.
