New England Under Hammer “Boot Pistol”. Approximately .31 caliber. Two stage barrel marked “cast steel”. No makers marks visible. Barrel length is 7” and overall length is 11”. Stock is very good with no chips or cracks. The action works perfectly. These under hammers were made in Connecticut, Massachusetts as well as Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire. Most are from the 1830’s. Fine example!
