Colt Single Action Army Long Flute .38-40 caliber revolver. Made in 1913. Very fine example. This gun is all original and has 97-98% of the original blue on the metal. The frame still has excellent original case colors. Grips are excellent. Numbers are all matching. This gun is one of the rare long flute variations. Approximately 1400 Colt Single Action Armies were given the cylinders that were left over from the Colt 1878 DA production. The gun comes with a factory letter that confirms this gun is a long flute. Unfortunately, Colt does not have any other information besides this. Excellent original condition of a desirable variation!
