Blunderbus Carbine by Carbo Barcelona. Stockel lists Carbo as active in 1675 in Ripoll. Ripoll, Catalonia is approximately 50 miles from Barcelona, so it is certainly possible carbo worked in both cities. Barrel length 19” and overall 34 ½”. The muzzle flares 2 ½”. Barrel has silver inlays and gold marker and city sinks. The stock has fine floral carving. The brideled pan is very well made as is the entire gun. Barrel is two stage with fine decoration. Fine Spanish blunderbuss carbine and seldom seen in this configuration.
