LeFauchex a Paris 16 Ga Pinfire Shotgun (AL4230)
LeFauchex a Paris 16 Ga Pinfire shotgun. Beautifully cased set with all accessories. The shotgun has 30” barrels. The frame, opening lever, locks, and buttplate are expertly chiseled. The case contains mold (for ball), stuck case extractor, case trimmer, powder measures, oiler, wooden funnel, and wooden device for reloading the shells. Under the barrels, in the case, is another compartment for cleaning and has a 3-piece cleaning rod and bore brush. Casimir LeFaucheux was a renowned gunmaker in Paris during the 1830-1850 period. This is a very complete and expertly made shotgun. The case is of gorgeous burl figured Louped’ Thuya. The gun is in near new condition (very minor nicks in the buttstock. The accessories are of Rosewood. This set wood be a pleasure to own!
