Flintlock Cavalry Musketoon (AL5001)

Flintlock Cavalry Musketoon. Approximately .69 caliber smooth bore 27⅞” bright round barrel. Appears to be Austrian or German. Lock is marked “US”, the authenticity of which cannot be verified. Metal is smooth and bright with very light staining. Brass furniture is fine, and the wood is fine with no cracks or chips. Except for the “US” there are no marks. Has a brass-tipped wood cleaning rod. An interesting Cavalry musketoon that deserves additional research. Action works correctly.
