Winchester 12 Trench Gun 12 Gauge (W10828)

Winchester 12 Trench Gun 12 Gauge shotgun. Very scarce genuine WWII Winchester Model 12 Trench Gun. 20” Barrel with 4-hole handguard/bayonet adapter. Barrel has correctly never had a front sight installed. The barrel and tube have approximately 92% blue with scattered areas of spotting. The receiver is correctly marked with “U.S. and ordnance bomb on the right side. The receiver has approximately 95% blue with a couple of spots on the top and left side. Butt stock has a strong “G.H.D.” in box cartouche. About 10% of the small ordnance wheel stamp is visible. The stock has not been sanded-it was very lightly struck originally. The butt plate is fine, The action works correctly. The barrel is dated 1943. The receiver and barrel extension serial numbers match. Comes with a correct 1944 dated Boyt sling. Also comes with a correct model 1917 bayonet, dated 1917, by Winchester. The scabbard is fine and the bayonet is excellent. Genuine Model 12 Trench Gun are hard to find. Don’t pass this one up!
