Parker Lifter Action 12 Gauge Shotgun, Circa 1874. 29¾” Barrels with fine bores with some roughness forward of the chambers. The barrel rib is marked “Parker Bros makers Meriden Conn Decarbonized Steel”. The action shows traces of case color having turned mostly silver/ blue. The checkered stocks are very good with the to be expected hunting wear. All numbers match. The action functions correctly. This is a nice example of an early lifer action Parker shotgun. Not for high velocity modern ammunition. Low brass only.
