Factory engraved Marlin 1889 Deluxe .44-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1892. Has a rare 32” barrel in .44-40 caliber. Barrel has beautiful blue that rates around 97%. Frame has 50% case colors that have softened. Wood is excellent. Bore is excellent. Gun comes with a factory letter that confirms the stock, barrel length and caliber, but does not mention the factory engraving. This gun is clearly factory engraved, but it is just not mentioned in the records. Absolutely beautiful factory engraved Marlin 1889 Deluxe!
